Since my Salomon Quest 3D have been hurting my feet, I consulted with Bentley who knows all things hiking boot. He told me to try the Scarpa Kailesh. Then my handy dandy husband found a pair on clearance for 135.00. Shipping was free and they arrived today. I loved the prophetic saying on the box. I'm also hoping it's true.
I loved them from the start. The colour, the flexible laces, the generous tongue, the ankle comfort pillows (!), the lacing system. I felt like this boot fits my ankle way better than the Salomons. I wore them all day and had happy feet. Time will tell though.
I walked to book club tonight. There was a tree branch half-heartedly trying to block my path.
Coming home at 10:30 pm, the streetlights weren't even on yet. I just love this time of year.
