Saskatoons in June?!?

Perry and I went out for a little walk this morning. Even though my feet are not loving my Salomon's, I still need to get out there. And I really want to just get past the pain. I keep thinking if I just keep walking in these boots, my feet will get over it and be fine. Nope. When I get home after a long walk in my boots, I can't wait to take them off. They make my feet tired. With a month to go, I'm stressing out.
Along the ridge I stayed off the paved path and boy am I glad I did! I found Saskatoon berries galore. I don't think I've ever seen them this early. I downed a handful of plump juicy sweet sun-warmed berries. I'll be going back as there are lots left to ripen.

This photo doesn't do it justice, but I thought the bluebells and brown eyed susans looked so pretty.
The vibrant colours of this wild rose and these forgetmetnots though.

Great walk. Except for the feet.
